Eric Daoust est photographe spécialiste de la photo artistique et du portrait. A la suite de sa graduation du New York Institute of Photography, Eric se démarque par son style tres épuré, par l′émotion qui se dégage de ses images et par la qualité de son utilisation de la lumière.
Au cours des années, Eric s′est forgé une solide réputation auprès de ses partenaires de création et de ses clients par son professionalisme, par l′importance qu′il accorde au confort de ses sujets et par sa capacité à capter leur essence.

Eric Daoust is a photographer that specializes in fine art photography and in portraiture. Following his graduation from the New York Institute of Photography, Eric stands out by his very refined style, by the emotion that emanates from his images and by the quality of his use of lighting.
Through the years, Eric built a solid reputation with his creation partners and with his clients by his professionalism, by the emphasis he places on the comfort of his subjects and by his capacity to capture their essence.
Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
APPROCHE ET DÉMARCHE ARTISTIQUE
Les créations de Eric tournent beaucoup autour d′une recherche de son interprétation de la beauté. Par une exploration des contrastes créées par la lumière, les émotions, les textures ou simplement entre le sujet et l′environnement, il tente de capter une certaine pureté dans les lignes et une simplicité dans l′image.
L′approche exacte changera d′un sujet à l′autre ou du moins sera adapté à la réalité de chaque session de création. Spécialement dans la photographie avec modèle, il y a une collaboration qui est très importante entre la personne photographiée et le photographe et cette relation va changer beaucoup d′une collaboration à l′autre ce qui changera aussi l′approche.
À chaque session de création le but premier est le même; de créer des images desquelles les partenaires de création et le photographe seront fier et seront heureux de montrer. De plus, il y a le côté un peu magique lié à l′idée de capter un instant précieux qui ne reviendra jamais.
ARTISTIC APPROACH
Eric′s creations revolve a lot around looking for what his interpretation of beauty is. It can be by an exploration of the contrasts created by the light, the emotions, the textures or simply between a subject and the environment, he tries to capture a certain purity in the lines and simplicity in the image.
The exact approach will change from one subject to the other or at least will be adapted to situation of each creation session. Especially in model photography, there is a collaboration that is really important between the person being photographed and the photographer and this relationship will really change from one collaboration to the next and this will change the approach as well.
In every creative session, the main goal is the same; to create images of which the creative partners and the photographer will be proud of and will be happy to show. On top of that, there is something a little magical in the idea of capturing a precious instant that will never come back.
